Deferring your taxes means you can pay your summer taxes by February 14, instead of September 14 without penalty. This is the same due date as the winter tax bill.
Taxes can be deferred until February 14, 2007 if your 2007 total house-hold income was less than $25,000 and you meet one of the following:
Senior Citizen (age 62 by Dec.1, 2007)
Quadriplegic, Paraplegic
Eligible Serviceman, Eligible Veteran or Widow
Blind Person
Totally and Permanently Disabled
If you are eligible, fill out the Application for Deferment of Summer Taxes.
This form must be signed and returned to:

This application must be filed with the Treasurer’s office no later than September 14, 2007.
