Education within the Fire Service is never ending. A firefighter (regardless of rank) will train and continue their education from the time they are hired as a rookie firefighter until the time they reach retirement. White Lake Township Fire Department conducts two required Department trainings per month. Specialized training and continuing EMS (Emergency Medical Services) education is never ending.
