The Township Treasurer collects and distributes your property tax bill for the following entities:
- State of Michigan
- Oakland County
- Oakland Community College
- Oakland Schools
- School Districts of Holly, Huron Valley, Clarkston, Walled Lake, and Waterford.
- White Lake Township General Fund, Police, Fire & Library, White Lake Township Parks & Recreation
- Various Special Assessments including garbage pick-up and lake levels.
- Oakland County Parks & Recreation and HCMA (Huron Clinton Metro Authority)
- Detroit Zoo

About 25,000 tax bills are mailed each year. Informational tax bills are mailed to homeowners who have a mortgage company paying their taxes. If you have a mortgage, please check your escrow statement for tax payments. Paid tax receipts are
not mailed to taxpayers due to the large number of tax bills and the cost of postage.

2009 SUMMER TAX - DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 14, 2009
Summer tax rates will be added to the White Lake Township website by the end of July 2009. Summer taxes are mailed in early July and are due without interest through September 14, 2009. Detailed tax bills are also available online for a fee from Oakland County. From Oakland County website www.oakgov.com click on Access Oakland.

2009 WINTER TAX -DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 14, 2010
Winter tax rates will be added to the White Lake Township website by the end of November 2009. Winter tax bills are mailed in early December and are due without interest through February 14th, 2010.

After March 1st, 2010 taxes will have to be paid at the Oakland County Treasurers

WAYS TO PAY YOUR TAX BILL
Taxes may be paid at the White Lake Township Treasurer’s Office during regular working hours. We are open Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. To 5:00 p.m. An after hour drop box is located in the Township driveway on the West side of the building.Taxes can be paid by cash, personal check, money order or cashier's check. If you wish to pay by credit card you may do so on the internet at www.paylocaltaxes.com.
