CLERK II – BUILDING DEPARTMENT
Application are being accepted for a Clerk II position in the Building department. The annual starting salary will be $37,971. This is a full time position.
The Clerk II position in the building department will provide administrative support to the building department. Primary responsibilities include answering customer and resident questions and problem resolution, issuing electrical, mechanical and plumbing permits, preparing various reports and correspondence and other clerical functions. Some administrative experience working in building preferred.
This position requires two or more years of customer service in an office environment or working with the public. Strong oral and written communication skills are necessary. Proficiency in Excel, MS Word and Outlook required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Prior experience with BS&A software is desired.
