PASSPORTS

White Lake Township will require all passport applications to be processed by appointment only. Appointments can be made by telephone 248-698-3300 (option 4 - Treasurer’s dept.) or in person at the Treasurer’s counter. Passport application appointments can be made Monday - Friday between 8:30 am and 11:30 am, or between 2:15 pm and 3:45 pm.


PLEASE NOTE:  NO PASSPORTS WILL BE PROCESSED AFTER 4:00PM


First time applicants will need to provide the following:

  1. Proof of U.S. citizenship
  2. Proof of identity
  3. One photograph that meets the requirements of the U.S. Department of STate
  4. Appropriate fees
  5. Completed passport application

For children under the age of 16, both parents or legal guardian(s) must appear and present the following:

  1. Proof of child's U.S. Citizenship
  2. Evidence of child's relationship to parents or guardian(s)
  3. Parents or Guardian(s) identification
  4. One photograph that meets the requirements of the U.S. Department of State
  5. Appropriate fees
  6. Completed passport application

Under Age 16

Fee to White Lake Township - $35.00
Under Age 16
Fee to U.S. Department of State - $15.00
Fee to White Lake Township - $35.00


Expedited Service requires an additional $60.00 per application - additional postage fees may apply.

Please be prepared to pay your fees with one check made out to the U.S. Department of State for the passport fee and cash, check or money order made payable to White Lake Township.
