The Supervisor's office handles a variety of requests for information about garbage collection, Freedom of Information requests, Community Development Block Grant program and general information. You can call the supervisor's office and leave a message for the trustee of your choice and the message will be given to them, or you can contact them at the following numbers: Township Board members are as follows: The Supervisor's office often is asked to settle disputes between neighbors and property issues. There is a limit to the issues brought to us by the residents that the Supervisor is able resolve. Some issues are within private subdivisions where the township does not have jurisdiction. Some issues are civil matters and are only able to be settled by the courts. The Township has no legal ability to enforce private subdivision deed restrictions or condominium master deed restrictions. The individual property owners in the subdivision or condominium, or in some cases can only enforce these documents, which can include restrictions on lake access or other building and use restrictions, by the condominium or subdivision associations. The Township may only enforce Township ordinances and various state laws. White Lake township does not have a Department of Public Works (DPW) like cities do. We have one maintenance man who's responsibilities are that of ground maintenance but extend much farther if the need arises.The maintenance man is responsible for grass cutting of all township properties, snow removal of township properties and any and most of the maintenance of buildings. Any road issues or concerns goes through the Road Commission of Oakland County. White Lake does not maintain any of the roads in the township; the Road Commission handles them.
