White Lake Township Will No Longer Be Able To Issue Dog Licenses

Attention White Lake Residents

Beginning in 2026, Oakland County has partnered with DocuPet, a web-based application that will manage the sale of dog licenses. Pet owners will NO longer be able to purchase dog licenses from the Township.

The DocuPet website allows for uploading required documentation and includes a lost pet service. Additionally, pet owners can opt to customize their tags with hundreds of options from which to choose.

DocuPet can be contacted at 877-239-6072 for step-by-step assistance in applying for a new dog license.

After January 15, 202,6 you can apply in person at the following location: AIRPORT VETERINARY HOSPITAL 7000 Highland Rd., Waterford, MI 48327. You will need your proof of rabies vaccination. Payments can be made by cash or credit card.
