Ordinance Enforcement

Ordinance Enforcement oversees the Township's residential and commercial compliance by enforcement of the Township Zoning Ordinance, State Building Code, and  Property Maintenance Code.  Blight, overgrown lawns/weeds, inoperable vehicles, and maintenance of animals are just a few of the common complaints the Ordinance Officer investigates and enforces. Upon notification or discovery of an ordinance violation, a notice of violation is sent to the property owner and/or agent.  Continued violation is subject to the issuance of citations and/or civil legal procedures.

You may file a complaint electronically by completing the ordinance complaint form or by calling and leaving a detailed message. Please leave the property address of the issue within your complaint. Complaints submitted electronically will be given a response.  When leaving a telephone complaint, a response to your complaint will be given if you leave your contact information.
