Seasonal Maintenance Worker – Part Time
The Charter Township of White Lake is accepting applications for Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Workers and Fire Hydrant Maintenance Workers. These positions are ideal for someone looking to work from April through August.
The Maintenance Worker performs a wide variety of buildings, grounds and facility maintenance activities including mowing, landscaping, weed whipping, property restoration, cleaning of facilities and parks trash collection.
The Fire Hydrant Maintenance Workers will primarily be responsible for painting Township Fire Hydrants but may also assist with landscaping, property restoration, cleaning the water facilities and assisting the DPS with other maintenance activities.
Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Must be able to operate lawn maintenance equipment or painting equipment after basic training. Prior experience is preferred but not necessary. Must be able and willing to work outdoors in all types of weather. The position is paid at a rate of $19/hour, not to exceed 30 hours per week.
