Garbage and Recycling Pick Up Reminder
YARD WASTE PICK STARTS APRIL 1, 2024 AND WILL GO THROUGH FRIDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2024
GFL is closed on the following holidays (IF THE ACTUAL HOLIDAY FALLS DURING THE BUSINESS WEEK):
New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
If your pickup day falls on or after a holiday during the business week, services will be pushed back one day.
IMPORTANT NOTE! If the holiday falls on a weekend, pick up service days will not change.
NOTE: Your garbage and/or recycling must be curbside by 7:00 AM on your service day.
YARD WASTE includes garden waste, leaves, lawn cuttings, shrubs & tree trimmings. Yard waste needs to be collected in 32-35 gallon containers marked "yard waste" and/or yard waste paper bags.The container or bag should not weigh more than 35lbs. Brush and tree limbs larger than 2 inch diameter need to be bundled together with heavy rope or twine. Each bundle cannot exceed 4 feet in length, 18 inches in diameter and weigh more than 35lbs.
Not considered yard waste - Dirt, sod, large stumps, sand, gravel, concrete, rocks, animal feces and dead animals.
2024 YARD WASTE PICK-UP DATES:
Pick up starts April 1 and ends December 6th.
