Union Lake Road Closure/Road Construction

Update as of 8/5/25

Per Oakland County Road Commision: DEVELOPER TO CLOSE UNION LAKE RD., COOLEY LAKE RD. TO ELIZABETH LAKE RD. IN WHITE LAKE TWP., AUG. 11-24. The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has issued a permit allowing Fairview Construction, a private developer, to close Union Lake Road, from the north leg of the Cooley Lake Road intersection to Elizabeth Lake Road in White Lake Township, to through traffic starting Monday, Aug. 11, through Sunday, Aug. 24.The closure is necessary for the contractor to widen a section of Union Lake Road from just south of Carpathian Drive to Independence Circle in conjunction with a new housing development. Access to homes (and businesses) within the closed section of Union Lake Road will be maintained throughout construction.The detour for through traffic during the closure is Cooley Lake Road to Williams Lake Road to Elizabeth Lake Road back to Union Lake Road and vice versa.

Note: Dublin will be open for classes and activities during the construction August 11-25th. We advise coming via Elizabeth Lake as that section of Union Lake Road should be accessible to get to the senior center. Again, please allow yourself extra time to get to classes and activities.

Grief Group Announcement

As our center grows, sometimes our calendar of activities has to be updated to accommodate these changes. As of September 1^st, Dublin Community Senior Center will no longer hold Widow/Widower Grief Group meetings on the 1^st Tuesday of the month. We will continue to offer the 3^rd Sunday of each month at 2:00pm for meetings.
